Zoé de Kerangat

Zoé de Kerangat is a predoctoral researcher at the Spanish National Research Council since 2014. She works in the project “Below Ground” (2016-2018), led by Francisco Ferrándiz. She is also a Ph.D. student in contemporary history at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Her Ph.D. thesis looks into the mass grave exhumations of the victims of Francoist repression in Spain in the 1970s and 1980s. She holds a Master’s degree in contemporary history from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2011) and a Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences (major in social sciences and humanities) from University College Utrecht (2010). In 2015, she enjoyed a three-month reserach stay at the Centro de Investigaciones Sociales (IDES/CONICET) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is an active member of the research association Memorias en Red since 2012.
