The UNREST Consortium is made up of a purposefully-assembled, multidisciplinary team of experts covering the fields of History, Social Anthropology, Political Philosophy, Memory Studies, Cultural Studies and Human-Computer Interaction, located in five member countries: Germany, United Kingdom, Denmark, Spain and Poland. The participant institutions are: Ruhr University Bochum (Institute for Social Movements), the University of Bath (Department of Politics, Language and International Studies and Department of Computer Science), Aarhus University (Department of Aesthetics and Communication), Spanish National Research Council, Center for Historical Research in Berlin of the Polish Academy of Science, Ruhr Museum Essen and the theater company Micomicón.
