Eleanor Rowley

Eleanor Rowley is a PhD candidate at the University of Bath researching the visitor experience at museums relating to conflict and difficult history. With a backround in Modern History, Peace Studies and International Education, Eleanor is interested in public history and how changing policies towards the past reflect the changing needs of the present. In her thesis and through her links to the UNREST project, Eleanor hopes to develop insight into how and why audiences engage with difficult heritage, and how visitors interact with agonistic spaces in museums.
